Internet and Email Access Now available for consumers at Women’s and Children’s Hospital!
One of our consumers, Mr Tony Rogers was surprised to learn that during the time spent at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital during the birth of his first child there was no computer internet or email access for parents.

In his role as Chairman of the JP Morgan Charity Committee he organised, with the help of Tim Jarvis also of JP Morgan, the donation of computer hardware and software to help support the establishment of internet and email access for consumers.

This service was recently launched and is situated in the Health Information Centre near the Kermode Street main paediatric entrance.

The new services enables consumers, particularly those from rural and remote areas to keep in touch with family and friends back home via email.
